Always cite your sources!
Academic Search Premier and the Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection and many other databases have built-in citation generators that will help you correctly cite your resources (see image below; click for a larger image). Just remember that you are responsible for double-checking any automatically-generated citations for correctness!
In a psychology class, you’ll most likely be using the APA (American Psychological Association) citation style. One of the best online references for all things APA (in-text citations, reference lists, citing unusual types of materials) is Purdue’s Online Writing Lab (OWL).
The Library also has a Citation Style Guides page with links to common style guides (APA, MLA) and online tools that help you build citations. You can find this page on the Library’s website under the “Quick Facts” drop down menu.
